What is homeopathy?

Is homeopathy proven to work?
No good-quality evidence shows that homeopathy is effective as a treatment for any health condition. This is the NHS position and the basis of our evidence overview. A consultation may still appeal to people who value time to discuss their situation, but that does not establish that a remedy treats disease.
Is homeopathy safe?
Many homeopathic products are highly diluted, but some products may contain substances that are unsafe or may interfere with medicines. The main risk is delaying diagnosis, vaccination or effective treatment. Read the safety and precautions guide before using a product.
Can I use homeopathy alongside prescribed medicine?
Tell your GP, pharmacist and homeopath about every medicine, supplement and complementary product you use. Keep taking prescribed medicine unless the clinician who prescribed it advises a change. Homeopathy must not replace recommended medical treatment or vaccination.
Who provides the consultations?
Consultations are provided by Daniela Stan, Homeopath. The service is a homeopathy consultation and does not provide emergency care or replace a GP, pharmacist or hospital service.
What happens at the first appointment?
The initial appointment lasts 60 minutes. You can discuss your health history, current concerns, medicines, supplements and daily life. Read what to expect and how to prepare before attending.
How much does a consultation cost?
The displayed fee is £160 for a 60-minute initial consultation and £90 for a 30-minute follow-up. Package fees are listed on the pricing page. Confirm what a package includes, whether remedies or postage cost extra, and the cancellation terms before paying.
When should I arrange a follow-up?
Use the review point agreed with the clinic or contact the clinic if you need clarification about the consultation plan. A follow-up is not the right route for urgent symptoms or medical assessment. Use the between-appointments guide to decide whom to contact.
Are appointments available in person and online?
In-person appointments take place at 29 Weymouth Street, Marylebone, London W1G 7DB. Telephone or video appointments may also be arranged. The clinic will confirm the format when it responds to your request.
Can I arrange an appointment for a child?
Contact the clinic first so it can confirm whether the request falls within its service scope and what parental or guardian involvement is required. Do not use homeopathy instead of paediatric assessment, prescribed treatment or vaccination. Seek medical advice for symptoms that worry you.
Are remedies included in the consultation fee?
The current fee page does not clearly state whether remedies, dispensing or postage are included. Ask the clinic to confirm all costs before paying. Keep any product in its original labelled container and follow the supplied instructions.
How do I request an appointment?
Use the appointment request form or call 020 3633 4902. Sending a request does not confirm an appointment; the clinic will reply with the agreed date, time and format.
What if I need urgent medical help?
Homeopathy World is not an urgent-care service. Use NHS 111 for urgent medical advice. Call 999 or go to A&E in a life-threatening emergency. Do not wait for the clinic to reply if symptoms are severe, sudden or getting worse.
