Your first Homeopathy World appointment is a 60-minute conversation about your reasons for attending, health history, medicines, supplements and daily life. The current fee is £160. You can request an appointment in Marylebone or remotely, but the request is not confirmed until the clinic replies.
Your first appointment at a glance
The appointment explains the clinic’s homeopathic process and allows time for questions. It is not a medical diagnosis, urgent assessment or replacement for your GP, prescribed treatment or vaccination.
Before you request an appointment
Read the initial consultation page and current pricing and fees. Decide whether you want to request an in-person or remote appointment, and note any dates or times you cannot attend.
The request form asks for contact and appointment information. Keep medical detail brief at this stage. The clinic collects a fuller history during the consultation. Sending the form does not create a clinical relationship and does not replace medical assessment.
What happens after you submit the form?
- The clinic reviews the request and contacts you about availability.
- You agree whether the appointment will be in Marylebone, online or by telephone.
- The clinic confirms the time, fee and any preparation instructions.
- You receive confirmation before you travel or join remotely.
If you have not received a reply, do not assume the appointment is booked. Contact the clinic on 020 3633 4902 or at info@homeopathyworld.co.uk.
How should you prepare?
You do not need to produce a perfect medical file. A short, accurate list is more useful than trying to remember everything during the appointment.
- Medicines: prescription names and doses, plus over-the-counter medicines.
- Other products: vitamins, supplements, herbal products and any homeopathic products you use.
- Relevant history: diagnoses, recent tests, allergies, operations and current clinical care.
- Your main questions: what you want to understand about the consultation, products, cost and follow-up.
- Practical details: access needs, preferred appointment format and the best way to contact you.
Should you keep a symptom diary?
A brief diary can help you describe timing and change without relying on memory. Record the date, what you noticed, how it affected daily life and any medical care or medicine change around the same time. Avoid turning the diary into a self-diagnosis.
Bring urgent or worrying symptoms to a medical service rather than waiting to discuss them at a homeopathy appointment. The diary is a conversation aid, not a reason to postpone assessment.
Preparing for an in-person or remote appointment
In Marylebone
The clinic address is 29 Weymouth Street, Marylebone, London W1G 7DB. Check your confirmed time and allow enough travel time. Contact the clinic before the day if you need to ask about access or bringing another person. Do not travel to the clinic without confirmation from the appointment team.
Online or by telephone
Use a quiet, private space where you can speak without being overheard. Keep your medicine list and notes nearby. For a video appointment, test the device, sound and connection beforehand and use the joining instructions the clinic sends.
If the connection fails, use the contact route included in the confirmation. A remote homeopathy appointment still does not provide physical examination, emergency assessment or diagnosis. Use local medical services for symptoms that need assessment.
How much information should you send in advance?
Share enough information for the clinic to understand the appointment request, but avoid sending a full medical history through the general request form. The form itself asks clients to keep medical detail brief. Bring fuller information to the confirmed consultation, where you can ask how it will be recorded and used.
What happens during the 60-minute consultation?
The homeopath asks why you have attended and takes a broad history. Questions may cover your current concerns, previous health events, medicines, supplements, sleep, appetite, routines and wellbeing. This is often called homeopathic case-taking.
You can ask how the practitioner uses the information, what the evidence says, how a product would be selected, what it costs and what would happen afterwards. If a question falls outside the homeopath’s scope, it should be directed to a GP, pharmacist or another regulated professional.
Homeopathic case-taking
Case-taking describes the information-gathering part of a homeopathy consultation. A practitioner may consider the person’s reported pattern as a whole rather than using one symptom alone. This is a process within homeopathy; it is not a medical diagnosis and does not establish that a selected product will treat a condition.
Product discussion
The practitioner may discuss a homeopathic product or may need time to review the case after the appointment. Ask for the product name, dilution, manufacturer, ingredients, instructions and cost. Keep the packaging and written information if you decide to use it.
Scope and consent
You can ask why information is being collected and decline to answer a question. Tell the practitioner if you do not understand a term or recommendation. You should have enough information about the process, price and proposed next step to decide freely.
What should not happen?
- You should not be told that the appointment replaces a GP, diagnosis, screening, vaccination or urgent care.
- You should not be told to stop or reduce prescribed medicine without the prescriber’s involvement.
- A worsening symptom should not be presented automatically as proof that a product is working.
- A practitioner’s training, consultation length or voluntary registration should not be presented as proof that homeopathy treats a condition.
- Fees, product costs and follow-up arrangements should not be hidden until after you have committed.
Questions worth asking during the appointment
- What is the purpose and scope of this consultation?
- Which questions should I take to my GP or pharmacist?
- What product are you proposing, and what exactly is in it?
- What are the evidence limits for the claims being discussed?
- Is the product cost included in the appointment fee?
- What should I record after the appointment?
- When would a follow-up be useful, and what would it cover?
- How do I contact the clinic with a process question or complaint?
What happens after the appointment?
Keep any written plan, product instructions and packaging together. Record what you take and the date. Continue prescribed medicines and medical appointments unless the regulated clinician responsible for them advises a change.
Use the between-appointments aftercare guide to record changes, choose the right contact and prepare for a follow-up.
The clinic should explain whether it proposes a follow-up and what that appointment would review. The current listed follow-up is 30 minutes and £90. Confirm the timing and fee before booking because your individual schedule has not been established by this general guide.
Who should you contact if something changes?
| Situation | Contact |
|---|---|
| A question about what the clinic recorded, supplied or scheduled | Homeopathy World |
| A question about product ingredients or a possible medicine interaction | Pharmacist or prescriber, with the packaging |
| A new, persistent or worsening symptom | GP or the clinical team responsible for your care |
| You need medical help now and it is not life-threatening | NHS 111 |
| A life-threatening emergency | 999 or A&E |
