Your Year in Wellbeing: A Seasonal Self-Care Calendar

A seasonal wellbeing calendar helps you remember preventive care, routine reviews and practical preparations. It is not a treatment plan and should be adapted to your health, work, caring responsibilities and local NHS advice.

Keep proven care central. Homeopathy does not replace vaccination, screening, prescribed medicine, dental care or medical assessment. The NHS states that there is no good-quality evidence that homeopathy treats any health condition.

Winter: warmth, infection and access

  • Take up seasonal vaccinations when eligible.
  • Keep repeat prescriptions and action plans current.
  • Plan for severe weather, heating and safe movement.
  • Check on people who may be vulnerable to cold.

Spring: review and reset

  • Review medicines and supplements with a pharmacist when needed.
  • Build outdoor activity gradually.
  • Prepare for allergies with evidence-based advice and prescribed treatment.
  • Check screening and dental reminders.

Summer: heat, sun and travel

  • Follow current heat-health advice and drink enough fluid.
  • Use sun protection and store medicines as directed.
  • Arrange travel vaccination and malaria advice early. Homeopathy cannot prevent malaria.
  • Carry medicine in original packaging when travelling.

Autumn: prepare for winter

  • Check flu and COVID-19 eligibility.
  • Review heating, smoke alarms and emergency contacts.
  • Notice changes in mood, sleep or daily function and seek support early.
  • Book routine reviews before the holiday period.

Monthly check-in

Choose a regular date to review four questions:

  1. Do I need to order or review any medicine?
  2. Are any symptoms new, persistent or getting worse?
  3. Have I missed a screening, vaccination or routine appointment?
  4. What small change to sleep, movement, food, social contact or rest is realistic this month?

If you use complementary care

Keep a current list of all products and practitioners. Tell your GP or pharmacist. Check the evidence for each specific claim, and avoid services that promise to treat conditions without robust evidence.

Continue with winter wellbeing, using homeopathy alongside conventional care and the safety guide.
