Homeopathy World offers private consultations in which a parent or carer can discuss a child’s general wellbeing, health history and existing care with Daniela Stan, Homeopath. The consultation does not replace a GP, pharmacist, dentist, health visitor, paediatrician or emergency service.
Before an appointment can be confirmed
The appointment request should identify the child’s age, the adult with parental responsibility who will attend, the reason for the enquiry and any current medical care. A request does not confirm that the clinic can offer an appointment. Homeopathy World will clarify suitability, consent arrangements, appointment format and the fee first.
What the consultation may cover
- The parent’s or carer’s reason for requesting a complementary consultation.
- The child’s general routines, sleep, food, activity and wellbeing.
- Relevant diagnoses, allergies, medicines, supplements and current healthcare professionals.
- Questions about homeopathic products and their evidence limitations.
- When the family should contact a GP, pharmacist, NHS 111 or emergency service.
The child should be included in the conversation in a way that suits their age and understanding. The adult with parental responsibility remains responsible for medical decisions and consent.
What this service does not provide
- Diagnosis or medical examination.
- Treatment for asthma, infection, eczema, autism, ADHD, allergies, digestive disease, behavioural conditions or another medical condition.
- Homeopathic vaccination or protection against infectious disease.
- Advice to stop antibiotics, inhalers, epilepsy medicine or any prescribed treatment.
- Emergency or out-of-hours paediatric care.
Keep conventional care in place
Tell the child’s GP, pharmacist or specialist about complementary products. Keep vaccinations and routine health reviews current. Do not delay an investigation or referral while trying a homeopathic product.
Checking a product for a child
Show the exact product label and leaflet to a pharmacist or appropriate clinician. Check the potency, dosage form, ingredients, alcohol, lactose or sucrose content, directions, expiry date and product number. Keep every product out of children’s reach.
The MHRA advises consumers to look for the relevant HR or NR number where applicable and to report suspected adverse reactions through the Yellow Card scheme.
When to seek urgent medical help
Seek urgent help if a child is very unwell, difficult to wake, struggling to breathe, dehydrated, has a seizure, severe pain, a concerning rash or rapidly worsening symptoms. Call 999 for a life-threatening emergency. Use NHS 111 when urgent advice is needed and you are unsure what to do.
Consent, privacy and safeguarding
Do not send detailed medical records through the general appointment form. The clinic should confirm who will attend, who has parental responsibility, how the child’s information will be recorded and whether communication with the child’s healthcare team may be needed. Homeopathy World does not publish a claim that Daniela holds a paediatric medical qualification.
Requesting an appointment
Send an appointment request with a short, non-urgent explanation. The clinic will confirm whether it can offer the consultation and explain the fee and arrangements before booking. You can also read the evidence and safety guide for children.
